Yes, I agree, Roberts makes a pretty convincing case in his book for the view I already held, that Napoleon, if anyone does, merits the appellation, The Great. What do you find odious about Fred? I find him quite interesting, if admittedly not all that Great, and even in some ways - his outspoken contempt for religion generally, and Christianity in particular, for example - quite likeable! I though Roberts did a good job for his argument re the title 'The Great.'
