As someone who loves military history, it's quite a sobering, thought-provoking, disturbing film. I'd like to watch it again at some point, I think; but it's not easy viewing. As Carlo says, above, it's pretty draining! I'm intrigued as to the group viewing dynamic. It's almost so intense I don't know how I'd cope watching it amongst a big group! Worth watching at least once in your life, keep alcohol and firearms well out of reach when doing so.PatGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00379668269395518541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3515676111354157450.post-35431511894394239862017-05-30T13:38:56.332+01:002017-05-30T13:38:56.332+01:00I saw this film Seb in Perth, Western Australia in...I saw this film Seb in Perth, Western Australia in the wonderful outdoor theatre at the Somerville at UWA back in 1987. It was a brutal, emotionally draining experience that I still recall vividly, especially the village scene and the horror outside the big cabin as our main character walks past. Your critique of it spot on.Carlohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17002425294986020268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3515676111354157450.post-29313516811848176452017-05-29T13:52:23.652+01:002017-05-29T13:52:23.652+01:00Sounds like an amazing film.
