I loved 633 Squadron as a child. But I hated it as an adult. But it's good that we can all get some enjoyment out of whichever ones we happen to like. Gregory Peck and David Niven were great in their parts.I can understand your disappointment to a certain degree, we cast films in a rosy glow of nostalgia, as witnessed by Taras Bulba which I loved but fell asleep the last time I watched it!
